Royal Navy Bosuns Whistle 1896 hallmarked silver Victorian

A very scarce original Victorian 'Royal Navy Bosun's Whistle or Boatswains Call', the keel impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1896 and maker's details 'H&T' (Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham) and engraved to both sides with floral leaf decoration, the bouy bearing Victorian Crowned 'Fouled Anchor' on lined ground and complete with original shackle impressed with lion passant silver mark. Superb condition, the hollow bouy and gun free of any dents or distortions. Length 93mm.
