1888 Kempton Park horse racing club pair of badges

A superb pair of rare original Victorian '1888 Kempton Park Racecourse' gilt and enamel ladies and gentlemens badges, the reverse of both with maker's details 'Henry Lewis 172 New Bond St. London' and impressed with official issue number '885', the gentleman's impressed '10 Guinea Pass'. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings , ribbon now absent, enamel perfect, gilt remains fresh.
