Catholic Nurses Guild CNG union badge

A good circa 1940's blue and white enamel floral decorated gilded brass badge, bearing Latin motto 'Salus Infirmorum' (Health of the Sick) above the initials 'CNG', the reverse with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 28mm. Catholic Nurses Guild was founded in 1897 changing its name in the late nineties to the Association of Catholic Nurses.
