A good pre 1953 'British Red Cross Society 3 Years Service badge'; a gilt and enamel example, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R Gaunt London' and impressed with official issue number '23074'. Very good condition, retaining original suspension bar and silk ribbon with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, a good clean example. Height 83mm. The British Red Cross Society Three-year Service badge was Instituted in 1922 and Discontinued in 1955.
