City of London Maternity Hospital medal for distinguished service

A scarce cupro-nickel plated large medallion, the obverse with circular title ''City of London Maternity Hospital (Incorporated By Royal Charter)' and bearing the City's shield to the center, the reverse within a laurel and palm leaf wreath 'Presented To Robin Christie Brown For Distinguished Service 1928 - 1959' and bearing maker's details 'Spink London'. Very good condition except for a mark to rim where it was once tested for silver, however this does not affect the appearance. Diameter 51mm.
