Western Airlines stewardess silver hat badge by John Hartman

A rare original 'Western Airlines Stewardess silver hat badge', depicting a large stylish head of a Native American Indian, feathered warbonnet flowing with turquoise stone set in the band, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Hartmans' curved over a heart shape design with '925' (silver) to the center, arrow superimposed behind it and 'Durango' below. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch. Width 61mm.
