Prince of Wales General Hospital London wartime nurses badge

A scarce 'Prince of Wales General Hospital' large gilt and enamel nurses cloak badge, awarded for service during the First World War period, circular title and red cross, with an applied white enamel 'dove of peace' and 'Prince of Wales plumes bearing Ich Dien scoll', the reverse inscribed 'Hester Tanner 24.4.15 - 19.6.19'. Very good condition, original two loop fittings and split pin, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 50mm.
