A rare For Services Rendered gold and enamel N.U.R. trade union medal, circular title 'National Union of Railwaymen' around a shield depicting Locomotive train with crossed red and green flags above, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1919, maker's details 'R.C', inscribed “Blyth No. 1. Branch Presented To Bro: J.H. Burn Chairman 1920 For Services Rendered 1918”. Excellent condition, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 28mm.
