A fine quality First World War period Islington College badge wth Latin motto's 'Honos habet onus' (Honor carries responsibility) and 'Disce ut doceas' (learn in order to teach) the reverse bearing Birmingham Silver hallmarks for 1913, maker's details 'A.F' (Arthur Fenwick Birmingham) and inscribed 'Islington College' 'R.A.Glading Prefect 1913 -14'. Very good condition, original pin fitting old replacement hook, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 32mm.
