WW2 Lanarkshire Steel 1940 war workers badge

A rare gilt badge with red and blue enamel, bearing the Coat of Arms of Lanarkshire Scotland and a circlet 'Lanarkshire Steel 1940', the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham' and official issue number '1632' original buttonhole fitting, some enamel damage to the top of the shield otherwise very good condition. Diameter 25mm.
