A scarce Second World War chrome badge with red and blue enamel, the reverse with unusual maker's details 'Fattorini Glasgow' and official issue number '4043' to the front. Good condition, original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.Height 25mm.William Simons & Co Ltd, Renfrewshire Scotland shipyard built minesweepers, tugs and dredgers, they merged in 1959 with Lobnitz & Co Ltd to become Simons-Lobnitz Ltd, shipbuilders trading until 1964.
