Original period manufacture. Early production bayonet, bright steel finished blade, hooked guard, bird head pommel and contoured wooden grips. The blade is very clean with no issues and clear markings. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Dark, uncleaned wooden grips with typical marring and denting to the surface. Mix of blue and steel patina finish on the scabbard, with some light scattered denting, more felt than seen. Clean bayonet overall.
