Austrian Imperial Era, Kaiserjager Officers Coat, Hauptmann

Original period manufacture. Pike gray doeskin wool body with green cuffs and piping, yellow buttons throughout, three gold wire stars on each collar for the rank of Hauptmann (Captain). Light gray silk body lining with a very nice Vienna tailor's label below the collar, gray silk lined skirt lining. Several costume house inkstamps in the body lining. No moth issues to report, overall the coat is very clean. There is evidence on each side of the body of the coat being taken in at some point, to make it fit a smaller man. Those seams have been opened up but you can see the stitch line as shown.
