Austrian Imperial Era, Ulan Officers Ulanka, 3rd Regiment, Hauptmann

Original period manufacture. Blue wool single breasted coat, with Madder red wool cuffs, collar and trim, gold, bullet style buttons throughout. White silk body lining, with red silk lining to the skirts. Vienna tailors label sewn to the outside of the interior chest pocket. Three silver wire stars on each collar point for the rank of Hauptmann, or Captain. One of the cuff buttons is missing from the left sleeve, and the shoulder strap button is missing. No moth issues to report, no costume house property stamps. The gold wire 'waterfall' trim on the tail of the coat is present but looks to have been resewn. Size about a 40 regular. A very elegant looking coat.
