US WWII USMC Kabar Utility Knife & Leather Sheath

Original era manufacture. Classic WWII Marine utility knife, with a stacked leather grip. KABAR  and U.S.M.C. marked on the ricasso. The blade exhibits honest age and wear, with evidence of a period sharpening and cleaning, original finish remains on the upper portion of the blade and ricasso. Thick pommel with a rectangular tang. Sound leather sheath of sewn and stapled construction, intact pommel strap. A good solid example of a Gyrene Kabar, which has seen some use.
