US Indian Wars Era, Army M1889 Forage Cap

Original era manufacture. A dark blue wool forage cap, with a black painted leather visor with a bound edge, and black leather adjustable chinstrap, secured with two brass Staff pattern buttons. Brown cotton lining with a thick leather disc sewn into the underside of the cap. Brown leather sweatband which remains pliable, but has become loose in a few spots. No moth issues to mention, the hat is a bit out of round from improper storage. Nice hat, and will display well on a form.
