British Cold War, Fairbair-Sykes Commando Knife, 1983

Original era manufacture. Last pattern commando knife with the cast, ribbed grip. Blue finish to the blade, with no surface corrosion, just some minor age staining. Manufacture marked on the guard, Sheffield England, and dated 1983. The blade measuring slightly under 7 inches in length.Standard brown leather sheath in basically sound condition, the elasticized cloth strap is present but broken,  normal age and wear.
