SS Stick pin a very impressive and original period stick pin

SS Stick pin a very impressive and original period stick pin with good black enamel finish and silver SS Runes it also has a nice patina to it the stick pin is maker marked Hoffstatter/Bonn and it is numbered 1397 I believe this could be the civil type? An outstanding item for an SS collection purchased by myself in 1981 please note the photo does not do this item justice no damage to it at all I will get a grip of my photo skills.
