WW2 2nd Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment MKIII Helmet

The best MKIII helmet I've seen. The 2nd East Yorks landed on D-Day with this then new issue pattern of helmet, period photographs show this. This example has a 1943 dated shell and size 7 undated liner both parts being original to each other. To one side there is a painted white rose of Yorkshire flash and the other side a painted single red arm of service strip flash. Condition is good but used. Exceptional North West theatre of operations item.
