RAF Transport Command US Peaked Cap

An interesting item dating from the immediate post war period (we know this by the style of label in the cap), a United States summer peaked cap with a hard to find RAF Transport Command bullion cloth cap badge to front. Cap shows use and has several moth holes to top. Perhaps this is a Berlin Airlift related piece as a number of US Officers served with RAF Transport Command during this period.
