British WWI, Ceramic Rum Jug, S.R.D.

Original era manufacture. Two color, ceramic rum jug which stands 13 inches in height. Painted into the glaze finish are the letters S.R.D., which British soldiers said stood for 'Soon Runs Dry'. No issues beyond light age and wear, maker marked on the bottom, James Pearson, Chesterfield.
