Original period manufacture. Two fibre tags and one hand made aluminum tag. Named to 400965 A. Watling, CE, 10 Can. The aluminum disc provides a bit more detail, 400965 Dr.(driver) A. Watling, 3rd Res.Park, C.A.S.C. I must admit I was surprised and saddened by what showed up regarding his service on Ancestry. There was Form E13, stating that 400965 A. Watling was killed in action on 15-8-17, with details of his burial listed below. Are these an extra set found with his personal effects? We'll never know, it would be nice if these could be reunited with his medals.
