Hitler Youth Knife - Small

A Hitler Youth knife, smaller than the standard issue (see pictures for comparison) . 21.5cm total length with an 11cm blade. Maker marked on the ricasse by Hubertus of Solingen. No engraving on a fair condition blade. Black sheath with leather retaining strap. Black hatched grips with pebbled non-moving HJ diamond. These smaller HJ knives were often thought to be Deutsche Jungvolk issue but there is no photographic evidence for this. More likely they were produced in 1945 and after as souvenirs for Allied troops. Very collectible. UK sale only. Proof of age required.
