SS 4 Year Service Medal with Citation.

An SS four-year service medal with citation paperwork. Black-washed die-struck tombac medal, with some blacking gone from high points. With original blue folded ribbon. Circular hanging ring. Citation, with faded photograph, appears to have been in damp storage, and much of it is illegible, including the recipients name, although his rank is Oberscharfuhrer, attached to Standarte 9/38 and name begins with PRE. Ink-stamped Himmler signature and signature of local Gruppenfuhrer. Awarded in 1939.
