Japanese WWII Nomonhan Medal, Cased

Original era manufacture. Medal which commemorates the battles between the Imperial Japanese Army and Red Army in Manchuria in 1939. The battles resulted in a decisive defeat for Imperial Japan and marked the rising star of the Red Army commander Georgy Zhukov. A clean example with it's original ribbon intact. Red cardboard case with a yellow flocked interior. The exterior of the case displays staining and wear.
