Description
Original era photography. US WWII Coast Guard photo album. Full of 219 photos, some of which are identified. The ship is unknown, however the overall content of the photographs is very good, with good detail of the ship's armament, crew, interior views and general ship life. In addition, numerous photos of the islands they visited and their inhabitants are also shown. A handwritten, two page note lists the ports and islands visited during their service, plus a large BW souvenir photo, dated 1944, from Army Navy Club in Long Beach California forms part of the grouping.
