French M1874 Gras Bayonet, L Deny Paris 1879

Original era manufacture. Mismatched blade to scabbard, the spine is marked L Deny Paris 1879. Bright and clean finish to the blade, with no staining or corrosion pitting. Steel patina finish to the guard, original finish wooden grips displaying typical minor denting and a mellow brass patina to the pommel. Steel scabbard displaying mostly original blue with some minor surface corrosion, no denting issues to mention.
