BeVo 'Bergkaukasien' Sleeve Shield

WH (Heer) BeVo-woven sleeve-shield as intended for a volunteer within the 'Bergkaukasien' Legion (Ärmelschild). In 1942 an identifying sleeve shield for members of the North Caucasian (Bergkaukasien) legion was introduced. The patch is showing a blue shield shaped base with in yellow a roundel with three horse heads below the script 'Bergkaukasien'. The shield is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style on a field-grey linnen background. The shield is in good mint and unissued condition showing only some minor staining caused by years of storage. Nice original Eastern Volunteer Sleeve Shield!
