US WWI 'False Embroidered' Captain's Rank Insignia, Pair

Original period manufacture. Matched pair of silver finish insignia in the rank of Captain. This style has been referred to as false embroidery, due to the decoration on the tops of the rank bars. Pinback reverse, each measuring 17 x 22 mm. Silver patina finish to the pair.
