US WWI Identified Officers Clothing Bag, Co. B, 109th MG Bn, 28th Division

Original era manufacture. A large khaki canvas carrying case or satchel, wonderfully hand decorated to  2nd Lt. Frank H. Reinoehl of Co. B 109th Machine Gun Battalion, PA 28th Division. His Veteran Compensation Application is available on Ancestry, showing engagements of Chateau Thierry to Vesle River, and Argonne Forest to Granpre. Copies of this document are included in the purchase. He also shows an injury or wounding in France, November 1918. The clothing bag appears complete, normal age and wear.
