Original period manufacture. A cut-edge, cotton embroidered patch which does not fluoresce. Looks to have been laundered, otherwise quite clean.The Bushmasters served in the Canal Zone early in WWII, gaining their nickname from the venomous snake that inhabited the area. They saw combat in Dutch New Guinea, Noemfoor Island, and the Philippines.
