British WWI Oxfordshire Military Cross Grouping, 3 MID Certificates 1915-16-18

Original era issue. A nice grouping, chronicling the history of Lt. (later Capt, Major & Lt. Col.)  Bertram Long, who served in the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry during WWI. For this service, he was awarded two Military Crosses and was mentioned in dispatches at least three times. The lot includes an 8 place miniature medalbar attributed to Colonel Long, three separate Mentioned in Dispatches certificates, 1915-1916-1918, and an official certificate dated 1936 appointing him Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army.
