Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Nagoya Diamond, Riken Kozai

Original era manufacture. Another example of the smaller contractors of the Type 30 bayonet. Bright finished blade, straight guard, contoured wood grips with a rounded bird-head pommel.The blade displays cleaned corrosion near the tip, but remains bright, with the guard and pommel having a cleaned steel patina finish.  The wooden grips have been cleaned, with typical marring, denting and some chipping on the surfaces. Near dent-free, black painted steel scabbard which shows evidence of old corrosion pitting.
