US WWII Civil Defense Helmet, Air Raid Warden, Los Angeles Police

Original era manufacture. White painted steel doughboy style helmet with a simple gray web lining. Civil Defense decal on its front, of the pattern worn by Air Raid Wardens. The lining is intact however the adjusting string is missing, most of the chinstrap remains but missing the buckle. Property stamed on one of the liner straps, U.S. Property, L.A. Police.
