German WWII P-08 Luger Holster, 1939, Spare Magazine & Take Down Tool

Sold
$495.00

Description

Original era manufacture. A very sound example of a WWII German Luger holster, found at a local flea market about a week ago. Looks like the pistol has just been removed from it. Nice gloss to the leather surface, with sound stitching throughout, clear markings and date of 1939. Several additional, hand applied numbers appear on the reverse, in addition to what may be the GI's last name of Dent on the flap. Inside, the German soldier's name, Uffz.Wagner, and his Stammrole number 5545, are neatly written above the take down tool compartment. Unmarked steel take down tool, aluminum bottomed spare magazine showing the serial number 8610, with an eagle proof 63 waffenamt.
