Original period manufacture. Bronze medal with traces of a gilt finish, measures 68 mm in width. Awarded to Mme. Omer Jerosme nee Zoe Jahan, for her contribution to the 1855 Universal Exposition held in Paris that year. Her award was for the creation of an artwork created using hair.
