WW1 Pair To- LIEUT.R.L.BRUCE Robert Lloyd Bruce was the eldest son of the Reverend R Douglas Bruce who was the rector of St Annes, Dunbar & was born in Reading. He had been accepted to study at Keble College, Oxford but never matriculated due to the outbreak of war. He was commissioned in to the 11th service battalion of the Cameronians / Scottish Rifles & was sadly killed in action in Serbia 19-11-1916 age 21. He is buried in Karasouli military cemetery & his medals were posthumously issued to his father in 1922 NEF & Complete with MIC details, a copy image of the recipient in uniform, ODGW details & CWGC details.
