WW1 1914-15 Trio & GVIR Board of Trade Rocket Apparatus long service medal To- 198520.J.MUNDY.LS.RN (on the trio) & James Mundy (On the Rocket Apparatus medal) James Mundy was born in Abbotsbury, Weymouth in 1882 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy as a boy in 1898. He was pensioned to shore in 1922 & returned to Abbotsbury where he became a long serving member of the local Rocket Apparatus volunteers. He died in 1969 & his ashes were scattered on his wife's grave. NEF/GVF & Complete with copy service papers & other basic biographical details.
