WW1 Victory Medal To- J.HAYES.FMN.M.F.A Fireman John Hayes was lost at sea 6-6-1941 when HMS Glen Head was sunk. He was 52 years of age at the time of his death & is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial in London. Lloyd's says 27 lost from 36 crew, CWGC lists 23 crew and 3 RN gunners.
