No clasp China 1900 To- R.H.GHOREY.S.B.S.HMS.PLOVER Richard Henry Ghorey / Gorey was born in Portsmouth 7-1-1873 and was working as a chemists assistant when he enlisted in to the Royal Navy in 1895. He served onboard HMS Plover during the Boxer rebellion of 1900 & was one of only 74 recipients of the China medal to this ship. He continued to serve until 1919 when he was discharged due to his age & he is also entitled to the 1914-15 trio. Lightly polished VF or better & complete with copy service papers & medal roll details
