WW2 TERRITORIAL GROUP WITH ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS, 2/5th QUEEN'S REGIMENT

1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal & GVIR 1st type efficiency medal with Territorial Suspender To- 1469225.PTE.P.G.COOK.QUEENS. Peter George Cook was born 10-8-1921 & enlisted in to the Royal Artillery 30-5-1939. He was called up for war service 24-8-39 & continued to serve with the Royal Artillery in the Middle East & Mediterranean until 11-7-1944 when he transferred to the 2/5th battalion of the Queen's Regiment. He was discharged 14-8-1946 & was awarded the efficiency medal in army order 119 of 1946. GVF or better and court mounted as worn by the veteran with the incorrect later ribbon on the efficiency medal. Complete with the recipients call up papers, paybook, discharge book, certificate of transfer to the reserve & service card. Along with copy army order details. The paperwork is well used and shows signs of age.
