WW1 1914-15 Trio & British War Medal To- 2093.PTE.J.THOMPSON.NORTH'D.FUS John Thompson was both born & enlisted in Newcastle upon Tyne. He first Landed in France 20-4-1915 serving with the 6th battalion. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 2-7-1915 age 21 & is buried in ST. QUENTIN CABARET MILITARY CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Son of Mr. R. and Mrs. H. S. Thompson, of 27, Yorkshire St., Newcastle-on-Tyne.
