1914-15 trio, WW2 Defence & War Medals, 1911 Coronation medal & 1935 silver jubilee medal To- ENG.LT.S.E.MAIN.RN (1914-15 Star) & ENG.LT.CDR.S.E.MAIN.RN (WW1 Pair) Sidney Edward Main was born in Southsea 26-5-1886 & he was commissioned in to the Royal Navy in 1902. He was awarded the 1911 coronation medal for his services onboard HMS.King Edward the 7th & during WW1 he served onboard HMS Shannon at the battle of Jutland. He went onto be awarded the 1935 silver jubilee medal & served on shore bases at home during WW2. He retired from the service at the wars end with the rank of Engineer Commander.
