British Crimea medal with Sebastopol clasp Officially impressed on the rim in the correct style To- W.WELBURN.GR&DR.1st.BATN.RL.ARTY. William Welburn was born in Sutton, South Yorkshire in 1829 and enlisted in to the Royal Artillery in 1853. He served in both the Crimea and on Gibraltar before he was discharged due to ill health in 1865. Complete with copy service papers & medal roll details. Along with other basic biographical research details. F/VF with two eks & contact marks in the obverse field.
