WW1 Pair To- 100049.PTE.J.WINTON.52-CAN.INF James Winton was killed in action in France & Flanders 31-5-1916 serving with the 52nd battalion of the Canadian Infantry. He was 29 years of age at the time of his death & sadly having no known grave. He is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of William Sandilands Winton of Fir Hill Colinton, Edinburgh, Scotland. NEF & Complete with CWGC details
