WW1 1914-15 Trio To- 16-1211.PTE.E.LOWERY.W.YORK.R Edward Lowry was one of the original members of the 16th service battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment & first landed in Egypt with the battalion 22-12-1915. He went on to serve with the battalion in France and was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds.
