WW1 Pair To- 2458.PTE.W.CAIRNS.BERKS.YEO Walter Cairns enlisted in to the Berkshire Yeomanry 26-11-1914 and first served overseas with the Berkshire Yeomanry. He transferred to the Royal Berkshire Regiment with service number 37272 and is recorded as having been wounded 30-11-1916. He was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds 16-5-1917.
