WW1 1914 STAR TRIO, 1st ROYAL FUSILIERS, KILLED IN ACTION, FRANCE & FLANDERS 21-2-1915

WW1 1914 Star trio To- L-15564.PTE.R.SHEPPARD.1/R.FUS Rowland Shephard was born in Brockley & enlisted at Nunhead. He first landed in France 20-9-1914 serving with the 1st battalion of the Royal Fusiliers and was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 21-2-1915. He is buried in La Chapelle D'Armentieres communal cemetery. NEF & Complete with MIC details along with details from both S.D.G.W & The C.W.G.C
