WW1 MILITARY MEDAL (MM) & PAIR, 2nd DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY, FROM SUNDERLAND

GVR 1st type WW1 Military Medal (MM) & Pair To- 12032.CPL.A.H.SYKES.2/DURH.L.I Archibald.H.Sykes was awarded the MM for services in France with the 2nd battalion of the Durham Light Infantry & this was published in the London gazette dated 21-10-1918.The London gazette also stated that he was a resident of Sunderland GVF or better & complete with both MIC & London gazette details.
