WW1 1914 STAR TRIO, 2nd HIGHLAND LIGHT INFANTRY, KILLED IN ACTION, FRANCE & FLANDERS 16-5-1915

WW1 1914 Star trio To- 9320.PTE.D.HAMILTON.2/HIGH.L.I Duncan Hamilton first landed in France 21-9-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion of the Highland Light Infantry. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 16-5-1915 & was both born & enlisted in Edinburgh.He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Le Touret memorial.
